Basic Terms for those using GOREGISTA
You are responsible for your use of any GOREGISTA Services, for any Content you post to the services, and for any consequences thereof. The Content you submit, post, or display will be able to be viewed by other users of the Services. You should only provide Content that you are comfortable sharing with others. In creating a GOREGISTA account you agree to not post content of explicit nature to GOREGISTA. This includes pornographic, illegal or violent material or material promoting a terrorist activity. Content GOREGISTA believes if of this nature will be removed, the account closed and police alerted where required. If you do not comply with GOREGISTA’s full Terms and Conditions on content and labelling, the content will be removed, the account closed and police alerted where required. You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules and regulations. The Services that GOREGISTA provides are always evolving, and the form and nature of the Services that GOREGISTA provides may change from time to time without prior notice. In addition, GOREGISTA may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services (or any features within the Services) to any user in general. We also retain the right to create limits on use and storage at our sole discretion at any time without prior notice to you.
You are responsible for your use of the Services, for any Content you view on the Services, and for any consequences thereof. The Content you choose and therefore, view, or register for, be it Content that pleases or offends you, is not the Services responsibility, nor does the Service actively monitor the Content. The sole onus is on the User who chooses to view or download Content from the Services under these Terms and GOREGISTA is not responsible for what content you are sent and whether it meets or exceeds your expectations.
NOTE: If you receive content that is explicit in nature (pornographic, illegal, violent or promoting a terrorist activity) please report it to GOREGISTA by emailing abuse@goregista.com.au. We will assess the content and act as we see fit. GOREGISTA have the final say in what material is explicit and what action is taken.
Who will see the information you provide?
Users who create an account with GOREGISTA and create an active event should do so in the knowledge that all details provided by them can be seen or viewed by any other person. This includes all labeling and address details of the event.
For App users the email address you provide to GOREGISTA is only used, by us, to send you more information on the event as provided by the event organiser. When you regista (register) for an event, the event organiser will receive your name (or the alias you provide) and any other requested information contained in the event details. If you are uncomfortable about sharing the additional information requested by the event organiser do not provide this information. You will only ever receive one email from us on each of the events you regista for. You will NEVER be contacted about this event again by us or the event organiser. GOREGISTA DOES NOT collect and store your information for use by third parties.
Acceptance of Terms
By using the GOREGISTA website and mobile App, you accept and agree to the terms and conditions set out in this document. This document may be amended from time to time with the addition of new features and services, or the alteration of existing features and services, or otherwise by our discretion. These amendments will be made without notice to you and will be effective as soon as the changes are made to this document.
Terms and Conditions – Event Organiser
All Content, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such Content. We may not monitor, control or honour the Content posted via the Services and, we do not take responsibility for such Content. Under no circumstances will GOREGISTA be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, any promises, errors or omissions in any Content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the Services or broadcast elsewhere. GOREGISTA will not honour any deals, promotions or promises made in any of the Content or by any of the Event Organisers using GOREGISTA. Nor will GOREGISTA regulate, control or monitor offensive, adult or religious material. GOREGISTA will however take complaints via email, abuse@goregista.com.au and consider each complaint with fairness and values in mind and offer solutions where possible. Complaints relating to unlawful, illegal, terrorist or dangerous behaviour or Content will be dealt with seriously. GOREGISTA and any of its contents must not be used: In breach of the law or any regulation, to infringe on the rights of a third party, in breach of any standards or requirements practiced and/or promoted by any relevant authority, or in association with any information that might be, or that might promote abusive, threatening, defamatory, unlawful, obscene, profane, pornographic or indecent conduct.
We reserve the right at all times (but will not have an obligation) to remove or refuse to distribute any Content on the Services and to terminate users or reclaim usernames. Please review the GOREGISTA Rules (which are part of these Terms) to better understand what is prohibited on the Service. We also reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information as we reasonably believe is necessary to (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (ii) enforce the Terms, including investigation of potential violations hereof, (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, (iv) respond to user support requests, or (v) protect the rights, property or safety of GOREGISTA, its Users, Businesses and the public. You must not forge part of the header information in any email or posting, or in any way use the Services to send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information.

We do not endorse, support, represent or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, tact, accuracy, or reliability of any Content or communications posted via the Services or endorse any opinions expressed via the Services. You understand that by using the Services, you may be exposed to Content that might be offensive, harmful, inaccurate or otherwise inappropriate, or in some cases, postings that have been mislabeled or are otherwise deceptive. Under no circumstances will GOREGISTA be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, any promises, errors or omissions in any Content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the Services or broadcast elsewhere. GOREGISTA will not honour any deals, promotions or promises made in any of the Content or by any of the Event Organisers using GOREGISTA. Users acknowledge and agree that any transaction between you and an Event Organiser is a third party transaction between you and such Third Party, and that you bear all risk in connection with your third party transactions. If you believe that any accounting by a Third Party is in error, you must contact such other Third Party, and not GOREGISTA, to seek resolution. Your correspondence or business dealings with any Third Party, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such Third Party.
AS / IS
Your use of our Platform of Content and Services is at your sole risk. Our Platform is provided to you “as is” and on an “as available” basis. We specifically disclaim all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We disclaim any warranties regarding the security, reliability, timeliness, and performance of our Platform. We disclaim any warranties for any information or advice obtained through our Platform. We disclaim any warranties for services or goods received through or advertised on our Platform or received through any links provided by our Platform, as well as for any information or advice received through any links provided through our Platform.
In addition, no advice or information (oral or written) obtained by you from us shall create any warranty.
You understand and agree that you download or otherwise obtain material or data through the use of our Platform at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any damages to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of such material or data.
Changes to our Terms and Conditions
If we decide to change these Terms and Conditions, we will post those changes on http://www.goregista.com.au/privacy and other places we deem appropriate, so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy statement under which the information was collected. If we make any material changes in our privacy practices, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying you and our other members of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email you and other members who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices. However, if you have deleted/deactivated your account, then you will not be contacted, nor will your previously collected personal information be used in this new manner.
We may update the Agreement with you at any time. It is your responsibility to review the most recent version of the Agreement frequently and remain informed about any changes to it. By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to any updates to this Agreement. This version of the Agreement supersedes all earlier versions, and comprises the entire agreement between you and GOREGISTA regarding the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you accept this Agreement and any modifications that we may make to this Agreement from time to time. If you do not agree to any provision of this Agreement, you should not use the Platform.
Passwords
When you complete our registration process you will create a password that will enable you to access our Platform. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your password, and are fully responsible for all liability and damages resulting from your failure to maintain that confidentiality and all activities that occur through the use of your password. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your password or any other breach of security. You agree that GOREGISTA cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this.
Release and Indemnity
Because we do not supervise or control the GOREGISTA events or interactions among users and other persons or companies, and because we cannot guarantee the true identity, age, nationality of Platform users, and because we have very limited control, if any, over the quality, safety, morality, legality, truthfulness or accuracy of various aspects of the Platform you agree that you bear all risk and you agree to release us (and our officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and third party partners) from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, your Third Party Transactions, our resolution of any disputes among users, and/or your transportation to or from, attendance at, or the actions of you or other persons at, a GOREGISTA event. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have under Australian and International law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us and our officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, consultants, affiliates, subsidiaries and third-party partners harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of your representations and warranties or this Agreement or the documents it incorporates by reference, your use of our Platform, Your Information, your violation of any law, statute, ordinance or regulation or the rights of a third party, your participation in a GOREGISTA event, or your participation as an Event Creator.
Restrictions on Content and Use of the Services
In consideration of your use of our Platform, you agree that Your Information:
a) shall not be fraudulent;
(b) shall not infringe any third party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy;
(c) shall not violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation;
(d) shall not be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing;
(e) shall not be obscene or contain, pornography, child pornography, or photographs of unclothed person(s);
(f) shall not contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, easter eggs or other computer programming routines that may damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information;
(g) shall not create liability for us or cause us to lose (in whole or in part) the services of our ISPs or other suppliers;
(h) shall not link directly or indirectly to any materials to which you do not have a right to link to or include.
Our Actions
We may use aggregate anonymous statistics regarding our customers, sales, traffic analyses and other information regarding or collected through our websites and printed forms. Other than in this anonymous form, we will not disclose your personal information without first obtaining your permission except as follows:
We may disclose personal information if required by law or legal process.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties providing, or assisting us in providing, services requested by you, and for billing purposes.
GOREGISTA will occasionally run online surveys, offer special deals and/or contests that may ask for the contact information of users (such as a name and email address). This contact information is used to contact users where necessary only by GOREGISTA employees.
